PAI GOW RULES

Seven cards. Two hands.

Deal seven cards. Tap any two cards to move them to Low. The other five automatically become High. Tap a low card to undo it, or tap a high card to replace your most recently chosen low card. Your high hand must rank at least as high as your low hand. Tap Set hand to lock your split and reveal the dealer.

Your tokens and bet

Start with 2,000 free-play tokens. Set a whole-number bet from 1 to your available purse before dealing. Your bet is held for the round: win both hands to earn the same amount as your bet (even money); lose both to lose the bet; push to get the bet back. There is no commission. Bets lock when dealt. Leaving or timing out auto-sets and settles the same bet. Reloads and server restarts preserve your purse. At zero tokens, you can start a new free 2,000-token purse. These are practice tokens, with no cash or cryptocurrency value.

Beat both to win

Each hand is compared with the dealer’s matching hand. Copies (exact ties) go to the dealer. Win both: Win, +1. Lose both: Loss, −1. Win one and lose one: Push, 0. For example, winning high and copying low is a push; copying both is a loss.

Our table rules · Boinko v1

52 cards plus one joker. The joker is an ace in your low hand. In the high hand, it is an ace unless completing a straight, flush, or straight flush. Four aces plus the joker makes five aces, the highest hand. A-2-3-4-5 is the lowest straight and the lowest straight flush. Two-card hands use pairs, then high cards; suits never break ties.

High-hand ranking: five aces, straight flush, four of a kind, full house, flush, straight, three of a kind, two pair, pair, high card. For high vs. low legality, compare category, then ranks and kickers; extra five-card kickers break a shared-prefix tie.

The Boinko house way

We check all 21 possible splits and discard fouls. Keep the strongest five-card category first, then the strongest legal low hand, then the strongest high-hand kickers. Equal options keep their deal order. This deterministic house way is shared by dealer, suggestions, and auto-set; it is not an optimal-play strategy.

Take your time. We’ll hold your cards.

You have two minutes per deal. At expiry, the server auto-sets and scores your hand. Leaving also auto-sets an active deal, so you cannot discard a round for a redraw. Reloading restores your current deal. Your score belongs to this browser’s private session. Practice needs no login; multiplayer and accounts are not included in this build.

Rule reference: Massachusetts Gaming Commission ↗. Boinko uses its own free-play score and house way.
